Fed Leaves Interest Rates Unchanged

25 June 2008

The FOMC meeting adjourned today with an announcement that there would be no change to key short term interest rates.  This was the result that the markets had widely expected.  Bonds today were down slightly but mortgage rates should remain unchanged.

Also reported today, New Home Sales and Durable Goods Orders from May in at expected levels, thus no significant impact to the bond market.
