Mortgage Rates Unchanged Again
9 January 2008
Bond markets stayed relatively flat again today. Bonds were down this morning but we’ll see no change over yesterday due to strength in afternoon trading from yesterday.
This is proving to be a calm week, there was no news released today and no significant data to be reported until Friday, when we’ll see the November Goods and Services Trade Balance report. Even this report is of relatively low significance, and the stock market will continue to have the most direct affect on the direction of the bond market and mortgage rates thorugh the duration of the week.
